Beef for the Holidays

Monday, December 9th, 2019.  Santa, pulling his trusty cow trailer loaded with lots of goodies, came to visit the Hope Children’s Home.  What a special and blessed day that was, as the Florida CattleWomen’s President Debbie Gill, and CattleWomen Kasi Lane and Cashlyn Newsome presented to the children presents from many Florida CattleWomen across our great state of Florida.  Florida CattleWomen believe in helping those faced with challenges in his/her life, and these children of Hope Children’s Home are experiencing challenges early in his/her lifetime.  The best part of the whole day, Florida CattleWomen was blessed to be able to present beef certificates that are redeemable at grocery stores for beef.  With the help of Florida Cattlemen that were present at the December Quarterly in Okeechobee, Florida, Florida CattleWomen was able to donate enough beef certificates for the whole year in ground beef purchases.  Hope Children’s Home purchases mostly ground beef, because as everyone knows, more people can be served using ground beef in meals.  What a Blessing to be able to help Hope Children’s Home.
